An Interview with our Intern Trevor Neece

In honor of National Intern Day we interviewed our intern, Trevor Neece:

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN LEARNING DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP?

I have been learning how to use different programs like Adobe Premiere and Videoscribe. I have also been learning more about how websites are built, and what process goes into making each website. I also have been learning lots of fancy new internet terms like SEO and PPC.

HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON ANY PROJECTS?

I have made a few videos that are based off news articles written by other people at Alt Media. Those Videos have been about anything from Bad Reviews to Data Science.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT INTERNING AT ALT MEDIA STUDIOS?

My favorite part of interning here is learning skills that I will be able to use in the future. Becoming fluent in these higher-end programs will help me if I ever need to use them later either at school or at a later job.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE PART?

My least favorite part is waiting for my computer to finish doing things. I didn’t realize how long it takes to render a video until I starting working here. Even though the video may only 5 minutes, it could take up to an hour to save to the desktop. Then if I have to fix anything I gotta wait again. Then sometimes it’ll freeze while saving and I get to wait some more.
